The Photographer...

I am from beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii but currently reside in Northridge, CA. I am a happy gal that loves photography and imagery. I love capturing emotions in people that create precious memories and creative art. Some of the other things that I love are...

my family

my dogs, Bailey (yellow labrador) and Rambo (the softest rottweiler ever)

food (every type you can think of)

music (seriously love all types of music. Music makes me tick)

cooking

water (I must've been a fish. I love everything about water. I have waterfalls at home, in my yard and in the office. Beaches are my favorite and I drink at least a gallon of it a day!)

laughing ( the best thing for the soul is laughter. I enjoy laughing even if it means playing a prank on someone! haha)

I could probably go on and on, but enough about me. Find me on facebook or twitter to see the latest updates.

Aloha,

Michael Jackson, The King of Pop. 1958-2009

When I first found out that Michael Jackson passed away yesterday, I was in shock. I was speaking to one of my employees about our referral program for a few minutes and at the end of the conversation, he asked me, “Did you hear about Michael Jackson?’  I answered,”no, what?” He then proceeded to tell me that he died. My immediate response was… “Shut Up….” I seriously thought he was joking. I asked him a couple times and he continued to tell me that he was not joking and he just heard it on the news.  I hung up the phone in shock and speechless. Almost immediately, I got a text from a friend asking if I heard about Michael Jackson and within seconds, I heard it over the speakers at the office. Sure enough, “Michael Jackson went into cardiac arrest and has died at the age of 50″.  Then, without a pause, they played  Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough. Over 24 hours have passed and I am still in disbelief. I am speechless. I will post more about this incredible enterainer later, when I can gather my thoughts. In the meantime, I will end this post with what I posted on my facebook status today. And that is… ” Gayla Elizabeth appreciates life.  Thinks we all need to be grateful for what we have.  Be humble, be kind and share your love. It can all be gone tomorrow.  So long Michael, you will be missed!”

June 30, 2009 - 1:12 pm Becky - It is so tragic and sad that we have lost an Icon like Michael Jackson. His memory will live on forever in his music. RIP M.J.

July 1, 2009 - 11:43 pm Natalie - "be humble, be kind and share your love." I think these words are something that we should all live by.

July 2, 2009 - 3:23 am Bev - I don't think we will see another person like him in our life time. He was a true innovator who has changed the way we hear and see music. He will be missed.
