I want to wish all the Mothers out there a very Happy Mother’s Day. Whether is a mom, mama, mommy, mother, ma, mum, …………(the list can go on and on), these ladies deserve a day of recognition for everything they do for their children and their families. Mothers are the backbone, the root, the soul of our families. They make our worlds go around, our clocks tick and our bodies breathe. In fact, without them, we wouldn’t be here! 
So, for those of you who are lucky enough to spend this special day with your mother, give her a big hug and kiss, tell her how important she is, tell her what an important role she had in your life, tell her how special she is and just how much you love her. If you can’t physically be with her, pick up the phone and give her a call. Remember, there are many children and adults who have lost their mother’s and don’t have that opportunity, so let’s remember how lucky we are to have a mother to celebrate this day with.
My mother is back in Hawaii. While she is with my brother and other family members on this special day, I still miss her and wish I could be back there to give her a big hug. Mothers constantly worry and sacrifice so much for their children and my mother is no different. Sometimes, she worries a little too much Here is a picture of my mother that has your typical “worried mother” look.
